Sourced From Local Produce
We make as much of our food as possible from local produce. This enables us to work closely with our suppliers to maintain the highest quality and it also ensures that the produce is always fresh. A craft bakery in Cambridge supplies us with a range of specialists breads including a low Gi variety.
Soup and other hot foods are made daily and served piping hot from our purpose-made vehicles, including a range of authentic Cornish Pasties sourced from a leading bakery near Newquay.

Our staff are trained to Environmental Health Department standards in food handling, preparation and storage.
Our production facilities are designed and fitted to comply fully with Environmental Health regulations and standards for food hygiene. TheDeliChef is proud to have won the top 5-Star rating for Food Hygiene from Peterborough City Council.
Our customers are welcome to visit us, by appointment, to see for themselves the conditions under which their food is prepared.
Healthy Options Available
We know that many of our customers want healthy options and our aim is to provide a range of menus to suit all tastes.
Low fat salads, pasta, and freshly cut fruit are amongst the many options that are available and our bakers have recently developed a low Gi bread which can improve blood sugar control and so help to prevent or manage cardiovascular disease and diabetes. This is also great news if you’re trying to lose weight!
We are continually developing our menus to meet the needs of our customers and will monitor the latest advice from health experts to ensure that we are offering the best possible dietary choice.
